Alphamega Hypermarkets announce 2026 Run As One charity race

On October 7, 2026, during a press conference at Bean Bar 360 on Makariou Avenue, Alphamega Hypermarkets officially announced the return of their charity road race, 'Run As One 2026'. Scheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2026, the event will take place with the starting and finishing line located at the Alphamega Engomi store in Nicosia. The race continues under the established slogan 'We Run for Our Children'.

The initiative, which began in 2016, is part of the 'Child, Nutrition & Health' corporate social responsibility program developed in partnership with the Cyprus Dietetic and Nutrition Association. The primary objectives are to promote physical activity and balanced nutrition among youth while preventing childhood obesity. All proceeds generated from the race will be dedicated to supporting children aged 9 to 12. These participants will receive personalized healthy nutrition plans following professional assessments provided by members of the Association.

The race has become a consistent annual effort for the organizers, aiming to foster long-term healthy habits. The upcoming event serves as a platform for both community engagement and the practical implementation of dietary support for local children.
