Apollon prepares for critical return to league action against Krasava ENY

Apollon Limassol returns to league action this Saturday, October 10, at 18:00, facing Krasava ENY at the Ammochostos-Epistrofi stadium. Following an unbeaten but draw-heavy start against strong opponents like Aris, Anorthosis, Omonia, and APOEL, coach Hernán Losada is under pressure to secure a win. The club remains winless in three of its first four matches, making this upcoming run of games—followed by Nea Salamina and Karmiotissa—vital for their standings.

Manager Hernán Losada has received a significant boost with the return of several key players from injury. Gaspar, Ljubic, Brown, and Ozbolt are back in the squad, increasing depth and tactical flexibility. Additionally, the international break provided valuable recovery time for players like Leonidas Konomis, who recently debuted for Cyprus and scored against Armenia. While summer signings Joel Asoro and Ikey Ugbo are expected to step up, the team is looking to replicate the successful form that started with a previous victory over the same opponent last December.

The match will be the first under the new management of Guillermo Romo for the home side, adding a layer of unpredictability. Apollon aims to leverage its reinforced squad to kickstart a winning streak and improve their competitive position in the league.
