Fifth Limassol Art Walks returns to the city's historic centre
The 5th edition of Limassol Art Walks is set to take place from October 9 to October 11, 2026, across the historic centre of Limassol. This cultural initiative invites the public to explore the city's contemporary art scene through a series of exhibitions, performances, and site-specific projects held at various locations throughout the area.
A total of 19 artist-run spaces, galleries, institutions, and pop-up initiatives are participating in this year's event. Key participants include Alley, Art Seen by Maria Stathi, the Center of Performing Art MITOS at Xydadiko, CITRONNE Gallery, the Limassol Municipal Arts Centre at Apothikes Papadaki, and several others. Visitors are encouraged to create their own custom routes through the city streets to engage with diverse artistic practices covering themes such as memory, ecology, identity, and the human relationship with the world.
Organizers emphasize that all exhibitions and events included in the programme are free of charge. The initiative aims to highlight the depth and transformation of the local art scene by connecting various independent spaces and established institutions in a collaborative urban experience.
