The Cyprus Handball Federation has officially announced the draw for the 2026-27 Allwyn Men’s and Women’s championships, with matches set to begin on October 24. The men’s opening round features a marquee matchup between six-time reigning champion Sabbianco Anorthosis and cup winner Parnassos, with their season rivalry starting even earlier during the Super Cup on October 11.

Simultaneously, several Cypriot clubs are preparing for upcoming European Cup fixtures. E.N. Athienou travels to Portugal to face C.J. Almeida Garrett on October 9 and 10. APOEL K.N. Agias Trimithias will make its European debut against the Azerbaijani team Kur on October 10 and 11. Furthermore, Sabbianco Anorthosis is scheduled to play AEK Athens on October 17 in Greece, followed by a return leg in Cyprus on October 25. These fixtures represent a significant period for Cyprus handball as clubs balance domestic league aspirations with continental competition requirements.
