Kourion municipality announces youth organization registration for council elections

The Municipality of Kourion has officially launched the registration process for youth organizations to join the Member Register of the Municipal Youth Council. This initiative is a prerequisite for participating in the upcoming elections to select the council's administrative board.

To be eligible, organizations must be active within Kourion municipal boundaries, have been in operation for at least one year, and maintain a membership of at least 20 individuals aged 35 or younger. Applicants must provide an official charter, a membership register, a summary of past activities, and the organization's logo or seal. The deadline for submitting applications is October 31, 2026. Submissions can be made either in person at the municipal headquarters or via email at youthcouncil@kourion.org.

This process is designed to formalize youth representation within the local government structure. Only those organizations that successfully register and meet the established criteria will be permitted to participate in the democratic election of the administrative leadership for the Municipal Youth Council.
