Cyprus Stock Exchange to suspend and delist treasury bills
The Cyprus Ministry of Finance and the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) have announced the upcoming delisting of 13-week treasury bills issued for the period between July 24 and October 23, 2026. These securities, identified by the trading code TB13G26, will be officially removed from the Cyprus Stock Exchange and the Central Securities Depository and Registry on October 23, 2026.
To facilitate the necessary clearing of outstanding transactions and to ensure investor protection, the CSE will suspend trading of these specific treasury bills for three days, from October 20 to October 22 inclusive. The final day for trading prior to this suspension is set for October 19. The decision to suspend and delist the securities is being implemented in accordance with Article 183 of the Securities and Cyprus Stock Exchange Law.
This administrative procedure follows the standard maturity schedule for government debt instruments. The suspension period is intended to allow for the orderly settlement of accounts before the instruments reach their final maturity date. No further trading or market activity involving this specific issue will take place following the October 23 delisting date.
