Panathinaikos dominates Fenerbahce in EuroLeague

Panathinaikos AKTOR achieved a commanding 92-74 victory over Fenerbahce in the fourth round of the EuroLeague on October 8, 2026, at the Telekom Center in Athens. The win maintains the Greek team's perfect 4-0 record at the start of the season. Mathias Lessort and Nigel Hayes-Davis were the standout performers for the winners, each scoring 19 points, while Francisco added 17 points and 7 assists. The home side established an early lead and dominated the second half, effectively neutralizing the Turkish team's offensive efforts.

Coach Zeljko Obradovic praised the team's collective effort and defensive intensity following the game, though he noted that improvements are still required regarding defensive execution and rebounding. Club owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos expressed high praise for the organization and the coaching impact of Obradovic. Fenerbahce, which suffered its first loss of the season in this matchup, struggled to contain Panathinaikos's pace and shooting efficiency throughout the contest.
