Breast cancer awareness walk to take place in Ypsonas

A public awareness walk regarding breast cancer, titled "Walking with Pink Figures – TOGETHER Stronger!", is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, 2026, in Ypsonas. The event is co-organized by the Ladies Kourion Club, Europa Donna Cyprus, the Municipality of Kourion, and the SBA Police, operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Health.

The event aims to promote the importance of prevention and early diagnosis for both women and men. Participants will gather at 17:00 at a location opposite the Sklavenitis supermarket parking lot in Ypsonas. Minister of Health Neofytos Charalambidis will officially inaugurate the march, which will conclude at the Kourion Town Hall. The route will be secured by both the Cyprus Police and the SBA Police.

To facilitate attendance, the organizers are providing free transportation via buses for participants from the town hall. Attendees will receive complimentary water and event-branded t-shirts at the starting point. This initiative serves as both a social solidarity movement and an educational platform to encourage responsible healthcare practices within the community.
