Burglarized a jewelry store in January – Found in a foreign country

A 40-year-old man was arrested in Cyprus after being extradited from an unnamed European country regarding a jewelry store burglary committed on January 19, 2026, in the Famagusta district. The suspect allegedly stole items valued at over €200,000. Following his arrest abroad on September 10, 2026, and his subsequent transfer to Cypriot authorities, the Famagusta District Court has ordered his detention for seven days to facilitate the ongoing investigation.
