Strict police security measures for AEL vs Omonia 29M match

Police authorities in Limassol have announced comprehensive security measures for the upcoming football match between AEL and Omonia 29M, scheduled for Sunday, October 11, at 19:00 at the AlphaMega Stadium. The match is part of the fifth round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan.

To ensure public safety, gates at the stadium will open at 17:30. Starting from that time, the main road leading to the stadium may be closed to traffic. Authorities have mandated strict pre-match checks, including the verification of fan cards and tickets through turnstiles. Furthermore, children's ticket holders must carry their identity cards for potential inspection. Ticket offices will remain operational on the day of the match.

Fans are strongly advised to arrive early to avoid delays, as thorough security protocols may slow entry processes. Special arrangements include the controlled departure of visiting fans following the conclusion of the game to prevent potential incidents between supporter groups. All attendees are expected to comply with official police instructions to facilitate a safe environment for the event.
