Anorthosis Famagusta celebrates the 40th anniversary of Antonis Papadopoulos stadium

Anorthosis Famagusta is commemorating the 40th anniversary of its home stadium, Antonis Papadopoulos. The facility, which serves as the team's base following the displacement from Famagusta, first opened its gates on October 12, 1986.

To mark this milestone, the club has issued a call to its supporters to fill the stadium for the upcoming league match against Pafos FC. This game is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, 2026, which serves as the eve of the historic anniversary. The club management has emphasized the importance of the fans' attendance, urging them to act as the "12th player" to support the team during this significant celebration of the club's history and memories accumulated over four decades.
