AEL Limassol prepares for Omonia 29M match

AEL Limassol faces Omonia 29M today, October 11, at 19:00 at the Alphamega Stadium for the fifth round of the championship. The team, managed by Hugo Martins, aims for a third consecutive victory to maintain their position at the top of the table, following their recent significant win against Pafos FC before the international break.

Manager Hugo Martins is considering tactical adjustments to increase the team's creativity. Key players Milosavljevic and Almeida have returned to the squad, providing more options for the starting lineup. The management of veteran forward Stevan Jovetic remains a focal point; at nearly 37 years old and following his active participation in four Nations League matches for Montenegro, Martins may rotate him. Meanwhile, the Nigerian forward Geoffrey is competing for a starting position, potentially making his debut to allow Jovetic rest. Defenders Conceicao and Milosavljevic are also contending for spots in the defense.

Having gone three weeks without official competition, AEL looks to demonstrate consistency and maintain their strong psychological momentum. The club continues to assess the physical condition of all players to ensure the team remains competitive in the ongoing championship race.
