AEL Limassol prepares for home match against Omonia 29M

AEL Limassol is set to face Omonia 29M at the Alphamega Stadium on October 11, 2026, at 19:00, as part of the 5th round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan. The team, managed by Hugo Martins, is looking to secure its third consecutive victory to maintain its position at the top of the league standings. AEL has maintained a perfect record at their home stadium, winning both matches played there so far this season.

Despite the positive momentum, several key players will miss the match due to fitness issues. The squad list excludes Almeida, Szoke, Peti, Cafu, Gomis, and Catakovic. While Ivan Milosavljevic has returned to the team, Joao Tavares will be absent in the following fixture against Omonia Aradippou on October 18 due to an accumulation of yellow cards. Coach Hugo Martins has adjusted his tactical approach to account for these ongoing personnel challenges, with reports indicating that players like Milosavljevic and Conceicao are currently contending for a place in the starting lineup.
