Iraklis defeats Levadiakos 2-0 in return to Kaftanzoglio stadium

On October 11, 2026, Iraklis secured a 2-0 victory against Levadiakos during the 6th round of the Stoiximan Super League. The match, held at the Kaftanzoglio Stadium in Thessaloniki, marked the club's return to its historic home ground after nine years. Despite heavy rainfall throughout the game, Iraklis managed to break the deadlock in the second half with goals from Nize and Krajnc, scored within a span of four minutes.

Under the management of Walter Mazzarri, Iraklis entered the match in 8th place, building on two previous draws. In contrast, Levadiakos, coached by Ilias Charalambous, remains in a critical situation, currently sitting in 13th place. The defeat extends the team's poor performance streak, as they have now failed to score a single goal in all five matches played so far this season.

While the first few minutes saw initial offensive pressure from Levadiakos, the hosts successfully controlled the pace of the game. Looking ahead, Iraklis prepares for its next match against PAOK, with players Barcenas and Giannoutsos expected to return to the squad.
