AEL Limassol secures victory against Omonia 29M

AEL Limassol coach Hugo Martins praised his team's character and perseverance following their recent hard-fought victory against Omonia 29M at the Alphamega stadium. The match marked the team's return to action after a three-week break caused by the international window, a period that required significant adjustments to training routines.

During the match, AEL faced defensive challenges against an opponent utilizing a five-man backline. Martins acknowledged that while the first half was difficult, his team improved significantly after the break, creating more scoring opportunities. Key to the victory was a critical save by goalkeeper Kapino when the score was tied at 0-0. The manager emphasized the collective effort of the players, who maintained pressure until the final stages of the game to secure the win.

With this result, AEL remains in first place, a position the club aims to maintain through continued hard work. Looking ahead, the team will face its next opponent without the presence of its supporters, but Martins expressed confidence that the team will remain focused on achieving its goals and delivering positive results for its fans.
