AEK Larnaca faces Omonia Aradippou in Cyprus League match

AEK Larnaca hosts Omonia Aradippou at the 'Arena' stadium today, October 12, 2026, at 19:00, marking the conclusion of the 5th round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan. AEK enters the match aiming for a victory to reach 12 points and rejoin AEL at the top of the league standings. Coach Ruben Selles has made four changes to his starting lineup compared to the previous match against Omonia 29M, including starts for Ekpolo, Ivanovic, Repas, and Bajic.

Omonia Aradippou, managed by Giannos Okkas, arrives as the underdog but maintains an undefeated record this season with one win and three draws. The visiting side faces the challenge with notable injuries, including Paris Polykarpou, who underwent ankle surgery. Conversely, AEK is dealing with the absences of Amin, Olivan, and Chacon, who underwent a minor medical procedure. Historically, matches between these two teams have favored the home side, with AEK seeking to break this trend while maintaining their momentum following a recent international break. Selles is expected to implement new tactical adjustments after having three weeks of training without competitive pressure.
