AEK Larnaca faces Omonia Aradippou in Cyprus League action

AEK Larnaca hosts Omonia Aradippou at the 'Arena' stadium today, October 12, 2026, at 19:00, in the fifth round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan. AEK, currently holding nine points, aims for a second consecutive victory to return to the top of the league standings. This match marks the first opportunity to observe the tactical work of head coach Ruben Selles, who has had three weeks of preparation without competitive pressure following his appointment just before the season opener.

Omonia Aradippou, coached by Giannos Okkas, enters the match as the underdog but maintains an unbeaten record with one win and three draws. The visitors recognize the difficulty of the task and emphasize the need for defensive consistency and focus. Both teams face squad challenges: AEK will be without injured players Amin, Olivan, and Chacon, the latter having recently undergone minor surgery, while Omonia Aradippou will miss Paris Polykarpou due to ankle surgery.
