Nicosia Kids Festival returns for its second year

The second annual Nicosia Kids Festival, titled "A Hug for Children" (Mia Agkalia gia ta Paidia), is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 18, at the old GSP stadium square in Nicosia. The event, initiated by Cyfield, will run from 10:00 to 19:00, offering a wide array of activities including music, theater, dance, science experiments, and interactive games designed for both children and their families.

This year's festival aims to build on the success of the inaugural event, which attracted over 6,000 visitors. The program has been expanded to ensure a broader variety of creative and educational experiences for children of all ages. A highlight of the day will be a performance by Antigoni, the popular singer who represented Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest.

The initiative focuses on fostering solidarity and providing a space where families can share creative moments rather than having children act as passive observers. By combining entertainment with social contribution, organizers hope to solidify the festival as a recurring local institution in Nicosia.
