Monsieur Doumani to perform in Limassol

The music group Monsieur Doumani is set to perform in Limassol on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 18:30. The concert will be hosted at the PSI Foundation and is presented as part of the parallel program for the exhibition 'Bill Viola. Unspoken'. This event marks the trio's return to the city after a prolonged absence, promising a performance that merges traditional Cypriot elements with contemporary electronic, jazz, rock, and avant-garde influences.

The award-winning group, which includes musicians playing the tzouras, trombone, and acoustic guitar, is recognized for its use of sound effects and looping techniques. Since their formation in Nicosia in 2012, the band has been praised for redefining Mediterranean music, with The Guardian describing them as one of the most inventive acts on the music scene. Their performance aims to explore the intersection of cultural identity, memory, and modern artistic expression through a dynamic and energetic stage presence.
