Panathinaikos faces Partizan in Euroleague round 5

Panathinaikos travels to Belgrade to face Partizan at the Belgrade Arena on October 13, 2026, as part of the fifth round of the Euroleague. This match marks the first away game of the season for the Greek team, which currently holds an undefeated 4-0 record, sharing the top spot in the standings with Valencia. In their previous outing, Panathinaikos secured a 92-74 victory over Fenerbahce, led by Mathias Lessort, who was named MVP of the round with 19 points and eight rebounds.

Coach Zeljko Obradovic returns to a familiar venue in Belgrade, acknowledging the intense atmosphere created by Partizan's supporters. The team enters the game with high morale following a domestic win against Promitheas in Patras, though they must contend with the absences of Kendrick Nunn and Kostas Sloukas. Both the coaching staff and player Bandjo have emphasized the importance of maintaining defensive intensity to secure a win in this challenging environment.

The game is scheduled to tip off at 21:30. Panathinaikos aims to preserve its perfect start to the season while adapting to the pressures of an away atmosphere, with the focus placed on tactical discipline and defensive consistency throughout the contest.
