Upcoming cultural festivals in Limassol

Limassol will host two distinct cultural events in October, focusing on Cypriot traditions and international dance. From October 13 to 17, a multinational festival will showcase dance groups from Europe and the Mediterranean, promoting themes of solidarity and peaceful coexistence. This event includes performances and parades starting at Grigori Afxentiou Square and concluding at the Old Port Square.

Separately, the 4th Cypriot Tradition Festival is scheduled for October 24 and 25 at the courtyard of the Panagia Pantanassa Cathedral. Running from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the event will feature traditional shadow theater, music, dances, and children's games. Visitors can observe craft demonstrations, such as weaving and embroidery, and sample traditional food served in clay vessels.

Both events are organized by local authorities and religious bodies, with free admission offered to the public for all activities. The municipal events aim to bring together residents and visitors through cultural exchange, while the cathedral event highlights local heritage.
