Konstantinos Argyros submits album for Grammy consideration

Popular Greek singer Konstantinos Argyros is seeking international recognition for his latest music project, "Kampanes – The Sound of the Aegean," by submitting it for consideration at the 2027 Grammy Awards. The album, which draws inspiration from Greek musical tradition and the sounds of the Aegean, is currently being reviewed by the Recording Academy for the Best Global Music Album category, while the title track is being considered for Best Global Music Performance.

Argyros announced his campaign, titled "For Your Grammy Consideration," via social media to reach members of the Recording Academy. The album has already achieved significant milestones, becoming the first Greek-language work to appear simultaneously on the Billboard World Albums and Billboard Top Album Sales charts. Participation in this process does not guarantee an official nomination, as the project is still under evaluation.

The official list of nominees for the 2027 Grammy Awards is expected to be announced on November 16, 2026, followed by the awards ceremony scheduled for February 7, 2027.
