Manager Ricardo Sa Pinto has finalized his starting lineup, selecting Majewski in goal, with a defensive line featuring Mae, David Luiz, Ioannou, and Bruno. The midfield and attack include Sunjic, Pepe, Quina, Dragomir, Lele, and Biel. Approximately 300 travelling fans are supporting the team in Bergamo, where they held a gathering at Piazzale degli Alpini to show their support. The match takes place in the recently renovated arena, known as the New Balance Arena in European competitions.

Following this opener, Pafos FC is scheduled to host the Latvian club RFS at the Stelios Kyriakides Stadium on October 22, 2026.
