Nicosia municipality to host inaugural UniConnect student festival

The Municipality of Nicosia has announced the launch of UniConnect Nicosia 2026, the city's first festival dedicated to students and youth. The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 21, from 18:00 to 23:00 at the Nicosia City Hall, aiming to foster integration, networking, and social interaction among students from various universities in the capital.

The festival will feature music, food, drinks, and a live link, with DJ Steve Provis appearing as a special guest. To ensure the event remains accessible to the student population, the municipality has implemented special, discounted pricing for refreshments throughout the evening. The event operates under the slogan "One city. One youth community. Endless connections.

This initiative marks a new effort by the Nicosia municipal authorities to strengthen ties between the city and its student population. The municipality intends for UniConnect to become an annual institution, establishing a recurring platform for community building and cultural exchange among young people living in the city.
