Futsal league update: Second round matches conclude following weather-related postponement

The second round of the Cyprus Futsal Championship took place on October 15 and 16, 2026. APOEL defeated Elpida Astromeriti 13-1, while AEK secured a 5-3 victory over EN Latsion. On Friday, Omonia Larnaca triumphed 7-1 against Doxa Paliometochou, and Apollon won 7-3 against Athienou AC, with the latter match played behind closed doors due to a disciplinary penalty carried over from the previous season.

The highly anticipated match between Ararat and AEL, originally scheduled for October 15 at the Melkonian arena, was postponed after persistent rainfall caused leaks in the facility's roof. Referees inspected the court at 20:30 and deemed the surface unsafe for play. It has been confirmed that the match will be rescheduled for Monday, October 19, 2026.
