ACCA holds new members ceremony in Cyprus

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) held a welcome ceremony in Cyprus on October 14, 2026, to induct over 220 new professionals into its global community. The event attracted more than 400 attendees, including representatives from major accounting and auditing firms, educational institutions, and various professional organizations.

ACCA Vice President Cristina Gutu traveled to Cyprus specifically for the ceremony. During her address, she highlighted the significant shifts currently reshaping the global accounting profession and outlined the emerging career opportunities for the new generation of accountants. Her visit also included a series of strategic meetings with key institutional and financial stakeholders in Cyprus to discuss the state and future challenges of the accounting and auditing sectors both domestically and internationally.
