Cyprus Red Cross and Lexus Cycling Dream Team launch charity race for Stella Soulioti Center

On October 14, 2026, the Cyprus Red Cross and the Lexus Cycling Dream Team announced the upcoming 'Agonas Agapis 2026' (Race of Love), a charity cycling event designed to raise funds for the Stella Soulioti Children's Therapeutic Center. The initiative was presented during a press conference held at the Red Cross headquarters in Nicosia.

The event is scheduled for November 6 and 7, 2026. Members of the Lexus Cycling Dream Team will traverse a challenging 165-kilometer off-road route starting in Nicosia and concluding at the Stella Soulioti Center in Limassol. The primary goal of this endeavor is to secure financial resources necessary for upgrading the services and infrastructure of the center, thereby enhancing the support provided to children, young people, and their families.

Fotini Papadopoulou, President of the Cyprus Red Cross, emphasized the social importance of the event, describing it as an initiative that successfully bridges athletic activity with humanitarian aid. This effort serves as a continuation of the Red Cross's long-standing commitment to social welfare and support for vulnerable groups in Cyprus.
