Twenty-year-old arrested for sending deceptive SMS, swindled over 26,500 euros

Police in Paphos arrested a 20-year-old man for his involvement in multiple internet fraud cases involving deceptive SMS messages. The suspect allegedly swindled victims out of more than 26,500 euros in total. He is currently being held under an eight-day detention order issued by the Paphos District Court while facing additional charges related to similar scams previously reported in Larnaca.
