Cyprus Wine Museum to host French music and art concert

The Cyprus Wine Museum in Erimi will host a concert titled 'Vive la France!' on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 7:00 pm. As part of the 'Commandaria Orchestra & Friends' series, the performance will feature flautist Florian Rabe and pianist Birgitta Birchall.

The programme showcases French musical history, spanning from the Baroque era to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The repertoire includes works by Marin Marais, Jean-Marie Leclair, Gabriel Fauré, Claude Debussy, and Camille Saint-Saëns. A unique element of the event is the integration of visual art, where each musical piece is paired with a projected painting to create a sensory dialogue between sound and color.

This event aims to demonstrate the versatility of the flute and piano while exploring the evolution of French artistic expression. The performance invites attendees to engage with the relationship between auditory experience and visual imagination through a curated selection of chamber music and fine art.
