Limassol to host international charity art festival
On October 17–18, 2026, the Limassol Municipal Garden will host an international family festival titled "A Stage for the Future – Painting Love with Childlike Hearts. Illuminating Hope." The event is organized by the Cypriots–Chinese Women & Children Association (CWCA) and will run daily from 10:00 to 20:00.
The festival features an extensive exhibition of over 600 pieces of children’s artwork, alongside contributions from various artists and photographers from Cyprus and abroad. The program includes live music, stage performances, interactive workshops, and traditional cultural displays such as lion and dragon dances, and Chinese drum performances. The character Lilibu from the book "Lilibu: The Painter of Dreams" is also scheduled to appear at the event.
All net proceeds from the festival are dedicated to charitable causes supporting children, highlighting the organization's goal to turn creative hobbies into meaningful community aid. The event is open to families, schools, businesses, and artists. Further information and event details are available on the official websites of the organizers at www.astageforthefuture.org and www.cwca-cyprus.org.
