Amathounta municipality hosts first flavors that unite festival

The Municipality of Amathounta recently hosted the first 'Flavors That Unite' festival, a cultural and gastronomic event held at Eirinis Square to celebrate local traditions. The event was organized with the support of the Limassol Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP) and the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, aiming to highlight regional culinary identities and foster community connections.

Visitors enjoyed a variety of traditional dishes and sweets, including local delicacies from Olympos, accompanied by a full program of musical and dance performances. A notable highlight was the participation of the 'Cooking with Kleio' group, which presented traditional recipes to the public. Local authorities, including the municipality and ETAP, expressed their gratitude to the volunteers and collaborators, such as the Lemesos Media Group, who contributed to the success of the inaugural celebration.

The festival served as a platform for cultural exchange and community engagement, drawing participants of all ages. Following the success of this first edition, the Municipality of Amathounta has announced plans to continue such cultural initiatives in the future to further promote the region's heritage.
