British tourist marks 75th stay at Paphos hotel
Paul Ingledew, a 76-year-old resident of Teesside, England, has completed his 75th stay at the Louis Phaethon Beach hotel in Paphos, Cyprus. His relationship with the establishment began in 2002 after he and his wife, Christine, were forced to find an alternative to their usual vacation spot in Ibiza. Since that initial visit, the couple has made Cyprus a regular destination, sometimes traveling to Paphos up to four times in a single year.
Over the course of 24 years, the hotel became a central location for the Ingledew family’s milestones. Both of Paul's children held their weddings at the property, and the site has since hosted multiple generations, including his grandchildren. According to Ingledew, the primary reason for his consistent return is the quality of the staff, many of whom he has known personally for over two decades.
