Panathinaikos to face Hapoel Tel Aviv in round 6 of EuroLeague

Panathinaikos is set to face Hapoel Tel Aviv on Friday evening at the Telekom Center Athens in a highly anticipated EuroLeague match. The Greek team enters the contest aiming to extend their impressive five-game winning streak that has defined their perfect start to this year’s continental campaign.

Panathinaikos coach Zeljko Obradovic emphasized the need for total readiness against a talented opponent capable of threatening through both perimeter play and post scoring. He downplayed suggestions that the game represents a clash of basketball philosophies, focusing instead on disciplined execution. Meanwhile, Hapoel Tel Aviv coach Dimitris Itoudis praised the quality of the Greek roster, acknowledging that the hosts were built to contend for the tournament title. Itoudis noted that his team must focus on managing physical contact, securing rebounds, and controlling the tempo to compete effectively.

Both teams are preparing for a tactical battle where ball security and defensive intensity will be paramount. The game serves as a critical test for Panathinaikos as they attempt to maintain their undefeated record early in the season.
