APOEL reaches milestone in private stadium project

The company "Yellow and Blue Sports Management Ltd," responsible for the licensing, construction, and management of the APOEL sports center and stadium, announced significant progress in the project. On October 15, 2026, the company officially submitted an application for a town planning permit to the relevant authorities.

This development follows the successful completion of architectural designs and the finalization of both traffic and environmental impact studies. Furthermore, the company confirmed that all necessary consultations with the competent government departments have been concluded. The procedures for obtaining the final building permit are also described as being in an advanced stage.

These steps represent the formal transition from planning to the regulatory approval phase for the new stadium. The project aims to establish a proprietary facility for the APOEL football club, moving the development closer to the commencement of construction works.
