Anna Vissi transitions to a new professional chapter following reported rift with Nikos Karvelas

Greek pop singer Anna Vissi is reportedly navigating a significant professional transition following a public rift with long-time collaborator and songwriter Nikos Karvelas. After more than four decades of working together, recent media reports suggest the creative partnership has effectively dissolved, prompting widespread speculation about the future direction of Vissi's discography.

Reports from various sources indicate that Vissi’s management team has approached prominent composer Giorgos Sabanis to discuss potential collaborations. Sabanis, known for his work with artists like Giorgos Mazonakis and Nikos Oikonomopoulos, has been suggested as a possible successor to lead Vissi's next musical phase. While some outlets claim the label has already requested new material from him, others report that the singer's inner circle is currently tempering these claims, stating that no official new collaborations or recordings have been finalized.

As the industry monitors the situation, the status of the long-standing artistic duo remains a topic of intense public and media interest. The future of Vissi's next musical project remains uncertain, with conflicting reports on whether she is actively pursuing new partnerships or if the focus remains on navigating the fallout from her separation with Karvelas.
