Orchestra Lumière to host charity edition of Cinema in Concert

The music production group Orchestra Lumière has announced a special charity edition of its popular show, "Cinema in Concert." The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at 20:00 at the Pallas Cinema Theatre in Nicosia.

This performance will feature live musical arrangements of well-known film scores, accompanied by interactive video art created by Andreas Christoforou. The production is led by composer Kyriakos Kosta and pianist Marianna Georgiou. Unlike previous sold-out iterations of the show, this event is dedicated to supporting the animal shelter Simba Animal Aid Cyprus.

All proceeds generated from the ticket sales and the event will be donated to Simba Animal Aid Cyprus to assist with the shelter's operations and animal care initiatives. This project aims to bridge the gap between cultural arts and social welfare by encouraging public support for animal protection through entertainment.
