Hadassah Medical Organization holds its first European conference in Limassol

On October 15, 2026, the Hadassah Medical Organization of Jerusalem hosted its inaugural European medical conference at the St Raphael Resort in Limassol, Cyprus. The event, titled "The Future of Medicine is Here: AI, Precision Medicine and Transforming Patient Care," served as a prelude to the official inauguration of the new Hadassah Medical Centre in Limassol.

The conference was organized under the auspices of the Cyprus Oncology Society with support from the Israeli government. Leading experts presented latest advancements in oncology, orthopaedics, cardiology, and neurology, with a specific focus on the integration of artificial intelligence into clinical practice. Opening speakers included George Zachariades, CEO of Hadassah Medical Centre Limassol; Dr. Anastasia Constantinidou, a representative of the Cyprus Oncology Society; and Professor Yoram Weiss, Director General of the Hadassah Medical Organization.

The event featured messages of support from Israeli President Isaac Herzog and the government of Greece, represented by Adonis Georgiadis. The conference highlights the strengthening of medical cooperation between Israel and Cyprus, marking the official entry of the Hadassah health network into the European medical landscape.
