18-year-old motorcyclist seriously injured in collision with bus in Paralimni

An 18-year-old man was hospitalized in serious condition following a road accident in the Famagusta district early Saturday morning. At approximately 12:20 a.m. on Adamantiou Korai Street in Paralimni, the motorcyclist collided with a bus driven by a 43-year-old man. Following the initial impact with the bus, the motorcycle crashed into a residential boundary wall.

The victim was initially transported to Famagusta General Hospital, where medical staff diagnosed him with an epidural haematoma and spinal fractures. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was subsequently transferred to Nicosia General Hospital for specialized treatment. Doctors currently describe his health status as serious but stable.

Local authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the exact circumstances and causes of the collision. The Paralimni Police Station is handling the case, and the investigation remains ongoing.
