An 18-year-old motorcyclist was hospitalized in critical condition following a traffic collision that occurred shortly after midnight on October 17, 2026, in Paralimni, Famagusta district. The accident took place at approximately 12:20 a.m. on Adamantiou Korai Street, where the victim's motorcycle collided with a bus driven by a 43-year-old man. Following the initial impact, the motorcycle struck a residential perimeter wall.

The injured youth was initially transported to Famagusta General Hospital, where medical staff identified an epidural hematoma and spinal fractures. Due to the severity of these injuries, he was subsequently transferred to Nicosia General Hospital for specialized treatment.
