PAOK faces squad uncertainty ahead of derby with Iraklis

PAOK is dealing with significant roster concerns ahead of their upcoming derby match against Iraklis at Toumba Stadium. Midfielder Dimitris Pelkas is currently listed as doubtful for the game due to recurring knee discomfort, with the coaching staff planning to re-evaluate his physical condition shortly before kickoff.

In addition to the uncertainty surrounding Pelkas, the team will be without Kiril Despodov, who remains sidelined due to a viral infection. These absences have forced head coach Alessio Lisi to reconsider his tactical approach and starting lineup. The coaching staff is placing a strong emphasis on improving both defensive organization and attacking efficiency following the team’s disappointing performance against Kalamata.

PAOK is highly motivated to secure a positive result in this critical match to regain momentum in the league. Lisi is expected to finalize his decisions regarding the final squad composition following the last training assessments.
