Karmiotissa coach Alexis Garpozis comments on defeat to Krasava ENY

On October 17, 2026, Karmiotissa suffered a 2-1 defeat against Krasava ENY in a match held at the Ammochostos Stadium. Following the loss, Karmiotissa head coach Alexis Garpozis expressed frustration, describing the outcome as inexplicable given the number of scoring opportunities his team created during the encounter.

Garpozis highlighted that the team lost two experienced players during the match, which significantly hampered their ability to turn the game around. The manager identified recurring issues in the squad's final execution and passing, noting that while the team showed quality and resilience, they struggled to convert their dominance into goals. He stated that Krasava ENY focused heavily on defensive play, with all eleven players positioned outside their own penalty area to protect the lead.

Looking ahead, the manager emphasized that while the season is a long marathon, the team urgently needs to secure points to improve their standing. The squad will rest before resuming preparations on Monday for their upcoming fixtures, with a focus on restoring player confidence and addressing tactical inefficiencies in the final third.
