Olympiacos faces personnel shortages ahead of Stoiximan GBL game against Vikos Falcons

Olympiacos travels to Ioannina to play the Vikos Falcons on October 18, 2026, at 13:00, in a third-round match of the Stoiximan GBL. The team enters this game with a 2-0 record in the domestic league, having recently secured two consecutive overtime victories in the EuroLeague against Valencia (102-97) and Barcelona (105-100), improving their European record to 5-1.

Despite their momentum, head coach Giorgos Bartzokas faces significant roster challenges. Gian Montero is sidelined due to injury, while Tarik Black is suspended. Furthermore, Evan Fournier has been granted a rest period, and Tyler Dorsey is excluded from the squad following internal disciplinary issues related to his recent public comments. Additionally, Donta Hall and Nikola Milutinov are listed as doubtful due to minor injuries. To manage the depleted lineup, Bourneles will join the team, with the possibility of substituting a foreign player to strengthen the roster for the upcoming match.
