Hadassah Medical Center officially opens in Limassol

The Hadassah Medical Center in Limassol was officially inaugurated on Thursday, October 15, 2026. The ceremony hosted over 450 guests, including government officials, international figures, and leading representatives from the medical and business sectors. Among the attendees were approximately 80 international visitors who traveled to Cyprus for the event, highlighting the center's mission to integrate the expertise and century-long tradition of the Jerusalem-based Hadassah Medical Organization into the Cypriot medical community.

The inauguration followed the conclusion of the first Hadassah medical conference held in Europe, which took place earlier that day at the St Raphael Resort in Limassol. The evening program commenced at 18:00, following a guest reception at 17:30. Opening remarks were delivered by Giorgos Zachariadis, CEO of the Hadassah Medical Center Limassol, followed by addresses from Lambros Christofi, Executive Chairman of the center, Yigal Molad, President of Hadassah Medical Limited, and Professor Yoram Weiss, Director General. The event also featured a message from Israeli President Isaac Herzog, emphasizing the strong bilateral relations between Cyprus and Israel.
