Pafos FC and APOEL draw 0-0 in Cyprus League

Pafos FC and APOEL played to a 0-0 draw on October 19, 2026, at the Stelios Kyriakides Stadium in Paphos, during the 6th round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan. The match was characterized by a high pace and several scoring opportunities for both sides, but neither team managed to find the net, with goalkeepers and missed chances preventing a breakthrough.

Both managers noted that the result was fair given the intense action. APOEL, led by assistant manager Nikolas Karampetakis in the absence of the suspended Nikos Papadopoulos, focused on defensive passion and expressed commitment to challenging for the top spot. On the other side, Pafos coach Ricardo Sa Pinto attributed the lack of goals to poor efficiency and acknowledged playing with a makeshift defensive line due to injuries.
