Cyprus and Israel host eighth business and investment summit in Tel Aviv
The 8th Cyprus–Israel Business & Investment Summit took place on October 20 in Tel Aviv, attracting over 200 delegates. The event served as a platform for entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers to deepen bilateral economic relations. Discussions focused on key sectors including energy, technology, banking, tourism, and innovation, with an emphasis on Cyprus's role as a strategic gateway for Israeli businesses entering the European market.
During the summit, Cornelios Corneliou highlighted that Cyprus is currently the fourth-largest destination for Israeli business service exports. Eurobank, which supported the event, was represented by Deputy CEO Andreas Petsas and Senior General Manager Stefanos Kassianidis. Kassianidis announced that the bank is actively evaluating the potential opening of a representative office in Israel to bolster its international footprint and facilitate regional business connectivity.
The initiative reflects a growing commitment to strategic collaboration. By leveraging complementary advantages, both nations aim to function as a bridge between Europe and the broader region, fostering long-term growth and commercial synergy.
