Kuutio Homes Pafiakos hosts Mladost Zagreb in CEV Champions League qualifier

On Tuesday, October 20, 2026, the Cypriot volleyball champions, Kuutio Homes Pafiakos, will host the Croatian side Mladost Zagreb at the Aphrodite indoor arena in Paphos. This match marks the first leg of the first qualifying round for the Men's CEV Champions League, representing the first time the club has hosted a qualifying game of this level at home. The match is scheduled to begin at 19:00.

Managed by Georgios Platritis, the team is aiming to recover from their recent loss in the Allwyn Super Cup. The squad, which has been bolstered by the addition of experienced foreign players, hopes to replicate their performance from the 2024-25 season when they reached the CEV Cup playoffs. The winner of this two-legged tie will advance to face the Bulgarian club Levski Sofia in the next stage, with the return leg set to take place in Zagreb next week.

In an effort to generate home-court advantage, the club has announced free entry for children belonging to any sports academies in Cyprus, provided they wear their team apparel. The team expects significant fan support as they attempt to secure a positive result before traveling to Croatia.
