National Guard armored vehicle overturns near Avgorou-Frenaros

On the morning of Tuesday, October 20, 2026, an armored personnel carrier (VAB) of the National Guard was involved in a traffic accident on the road between Avgorou and Frenaros. The vehicle, operated by two contract soldiers (SYOP), veered off the road near the industrial zone and overturned into a nearby field.
