Deadline approaching for urban development proposals in Cyprus

The Department of Town Planning and Housing, under the Ministry of Interior of Cyprus, has issued a reminder regarding the deadline for submitting reasoned views and proposals for the new local plans of Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, and Paphos. Interested parties and stakeholders must submit their documentation by Sunday, November 15, 2026.

Submissions must be made exclusively in a digital format through the 'Ippodamos' information system at https://hippodamus.tph.moi.gov.cy/ApplicationSubmission. The department has provided an instructional guide to assist users with the digital process. For technical assistance, applicants can contact the department via the telephone line 22409535, operational on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or via email at ippodamos@moi.gov.cy.
