Politia center announces lecture series on Turkish foreign policy

The Socio-Political Thinking Center 'Politia' has announced its fourth 'Thursday Cycle', featuring a series of six lectures dedicated to Turkey's foreign policy. The event will take place at the Artos Cultural Foundation in Nicosia, running weekly every Thursday from October 22 to November 26, 2026, between 18:30 and 20:00.

The main speaker for the series is Dr. Zenonas Tziarras, a lecturer at the Department of Turkish and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Cyprus and author of the book '8+2 Myths about Turkish Foreign Policy'. The initiative aims to facilitate critical dialogue and analyze dominant perceptions regarding Turkey's international standing. The sessions will feature concluding commentary from sociologist Dr. Nikos Peristianis, the founder of Politia, and historian-international relations expert Anna Koukkides-Prokopiou, who also serves as the organization's president.
