Cyprus Airways to launch daily flights to London Stansted
Cyprus Airways announced that it will launch a new year-round daily direct flight service between Larnaca International Airport and London Stansted, beginning April 23, 2027. This route is designed to strengthen connectivity between Cyprus and the United Kingdom, which remains one of the airline's most significant travel markets due to high demand from business travelers, tourists, and passengers visiting friends and relatives.
The expansion is part of a broader strategic move by the Larnaca-based carrier to grow its international network. According to CEO Thanos Pascalis, the route offers passengers increased flexibility and provides direct access to central London, as well as the northern and eastern regions of the capital and southeast England. The service will be operated using the airline’s fleet of Airbus A320 and A220 aircraft.
This announcement follows the airline’s recent introduction of year-round routes to Munich and Rome Fiumicino. Operated by Charlie Airlines Ltd, the company maintains an extensive network across Europe and the Middle East, including cities such as Paris, Milan, Athens, Tel Aviv, and Dubai. Further updates regarding booking availability are expected as the launch date approaches.
